The Stammering Biker Dashboard
Privacy policy
Last updated: 17 October 2026
This policy explains how Paul Jones, operating The Stammering Biker Dashboard, uses data for his personal YouTube channel performance dashboard.
Who operates the application
The dashboard is operated by Paul Jones for The Stammering Biker. For privacy questions, access requests or deletion requests, email enquiries@thestammeringbiker.com.
What information the dashboard accesses
After the channel owner authorises Google access, the dashboard retrieves:
- YouTube channel and video information, including channel names, video titles, identifiers and publication details.
- YouTube Analytics reports, including views, watch time, average view duration, subscriber changes and daily performance.
- Estimated revenue and audience information where the authorised permissions and YouTube reporting eligibility allow it. Reports that are unavailable are not replaced with invented figures.
The private dashboard also uses the signed-in owner's name and email information supplied by its ChatGPT sign-in service to control and display account access. Google connection credentials are used on the server to obtain authorised access tokens.
Why this information is used
The information is used to display the owner's channel performance, compare reporting periods and show video and audience insights. The Google connection is read-only: the dashboard does not upload, edit or delete YouTube videos. Google user data is not sold, used for advertising or used to train general-purpose AI models by this dashboard application.
Storage and security
The Google connection credentials are stored in the dashboard hosting service's server-side secret settings. They are not included in the public website, dashboard source files or browser storage. Access tokens are used server-side to request YouTube data.
The current dashboard does not maintain its own database of historical analytics reports. Report responses are sent to the signed-in owner's browser for display and may remain in browser memory while the dashboard is open. The hosting and sign-in services may process technical logs, authentication information and security records under their own policies.
Who processes the information
Google provides the YouTube APIs and authorisation service. The dashboard and this information website are hosted using OpenAI Sites and its hosting infrastructure, including Cloudflare. These services process information needed to provide hosting, sign-in, request handling and security. Private analytics are not published on this information website or made available to public visitors.
For their own processing, see the Google Privacy Policy, OpenAI Privacy Policy and Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Retention and deletion
Google connection credentials remain in the server's secret settings until they are replaced or removed. The current application has no separate long-term analytics archive to delete. To request removal of the stored Google connection credentials or raise a question about application-held data, contact enquiries@thestammeringbiker.com. Records held independently by hosting, sign-in or Google services are subject to those services' retention and deletion processes.
Withdrawing Google access
The owner can revoke the application's access through Google Account connections. Revocation prevents future authorised API access but does not itself remove the credential value from the dashboard's hosting settings. Those stored credentials must also be removed by the operator. Withdrawing access prevents live reporting until a new connection is authorised.
Cookies and this public website
This public information website does not include application-added advertising trackers, analytics scripts or contact forms. Hosting services may process standard request information. The separate private dashboard uses its hosting and sign-in services for authentication, which may use cookies needed for that functionality.
Google API use
The Stammering Biker Dashboard's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Use of the YouTube API services is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service.
Changes to this policy
This page will be updated if the application's data handling changes. The date above identifies the latest update.
